Veysonnaz is a village located at 1300m, overlooking the Rhône valley, at the heart of central Valais. This traditional village succeeded in developing lots of summer and winter activities for adults and for families. Besides touristic activities, traditional activities are still alive, like mountain agriculture.

Starting directly from the village, numerous hiking possibilities are available. Either rather flat walks along the historical irrigation channels or challenging climbs to reach the beautiful summits of the region.

The ski resort of Veysonnaz is part of the 4 Vallées area. This system – the biggest in Switzerland and the third of Europe – offers a total of 412 km of slopes. The 4 Vallées skilifts are also offering mountain bike tours during the summer.

The chalet is situated in a very calm area of Veysonnaz, surrounded by fields and gardens, but very close to the centre of the village. All facilities can be reached in 5 to 10 minutes on foot: grocery store, public transportation, restaurants, ski rental shop. In winter, a free shuttle bus will bring you to the gondola.

The Val d’Hérens can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Some of the most beautiful summits of Valais are located in this wild and beautiful valley. Sion, the main city of Valais, can also be reached in 15 minutes by car. This charming small city offers a big choice of good restaurants, historical centre, two famous castles and specialised vine and food shops.
